Saudi investment freeze won't affect Canada much
Most investments in Canada have been made by Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal through his Kingdom Holding Co.a Riyadh based conglomerate with investments in hotels and real estate and equities. The organization's global lodging unit joined Bill Gates' Cascade Investment and Canadian Isadore Sharp in a 2007 buyout of the executive's organization Four Seasons Hotels Inc., taking a 47.5 per cent stake.

"The issue does not influence the everyday tasks of Four Seasons," representative Sarah Tuite said in an email. "It is the same old thing as we keep on inviting visitors to our lodgings and resorts around the world."
Alwaleed's impact in the kingdom has decreased after his capture a year ago in an enemy of debasement clear by Crown Prince Mohammed canister Salman, who apparently is making an impression on Western faultfinders of his administration with this most recent response against Canada.
